"A Vanity Affair" - Next CSVR Fundraiser Lasik Surgery Added to “A Vanity Affair” CSVR is excited about the latest additions to the silent auction at their fundraiser “A Vanity Affair” on Feb. 1st. Christopher Walton MD of Premier Medical, Peter Zloty M.D. of Vision America, Bret Fisher MD and Kim Dunagan O.D. of Fairhope Eye and Laser Center have donated gift certificates for all or part of the cost of Lasik surgery. Lasik surgery, which corrects for refractive eye problems, often allows one to not have to wear corrective glasses. It is a procedure which is not covered by insurance, so these gift certificates are of considerable value. We also have received a fishing trip donated by Bobby Abruscato of the A Team Fishing Charters. There will be more items added as we approach Feb. 1st! Hope to see you there Feb. 1st at Bryne Hall on Springhill College Campus.
"A Vanity Affair" is the annual fundraiser for community Services for vision Rehabilitation. This year we are featuring, in addition to wine, food and music a silent auction. The emphasis will be on beauty, health and cosmetic procedures. There will be many other items of general interest. What will be auctioned? When and Where? Fresh Market Fund Raiser Our first Fundraiser, April 17th at the Fresh Market was a great success. We had over 250 people. The food and wine were superb, and the attendees were all happy with the event. We appreciate the help all the volunteers and ticket sellers whose efforts made the wine tasting a success. NEXT WINE TASTING: APRIL 2008 Because of the successful wine tasting event, we asked the Fresh Market to allow us to have the event again next year. They graciously agreed, and we are planning to have another in April of 2008. A date will be announced in the fall. Plan to attend!! Below are some photos taken during the event by our Vice-President, Murray Glusman, OD.
